About Us
About our rescue
Our rescue is foster based. This means We do not have a facility for every kitty and therefore, each kitty is in a foster home till it's adopted.
Many have been abused/neglected and/or special needs.
We strive to help every kitty with each situation on a case by case basis.
Every kitty needs a loving/patient home. Some kitties may take a few weeks while others can take up to 1 year to fully settle in.
Being home fostered as opposed to a facility has its benefits. They have time to decompress without feeling stressed. We feel that to teach them not all people are bad. We hope this will help them get past some of the trauma they endured. Our hopes are that every kitty and pair will find a family that connects to them.
We strive to give the best care to these animals and to rehabilitate, decompress, and overstimulate these animals to ensure a safe and healthy, happy home.
OUR RESCUE USUALLY WORKS WITH CATS OVER 2 YEARS, WE MAY EVERY NOW AND THEN HAVE 1 AND UP. BUT WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT" KITTENS" ALL SPECIAL NEEDS KITTENS STAY WITH US TO AT LEAST 1 YEAR DEPENDING ON SPECIAL NEEDS
Animals Are Our Mission
Our Rescue handles the care needs of Special Needs animals. We also handle Abused and neglected animals. The care of these animals need more then the basic vet care that one may see at a shelter or rescue. Most of these cats will need a very patient home with slow movements till the animals knows you and adjust to you and the home. Many of them need a feline friend to help them settle in and learn how to be that cat they should be., We strive to give the best vet care to these animals. We do use a full service vet, not a clinic.
Why We do this
There are so many cats and kittens that get the raw end of the stick. So many of them are left behind or treated like garbage. We believe all life has meaning and these babies did not ask to get hurt or harmed. These humans that were responsible for them did not care about giving them the best life.
We do this because all life deserves to be loved!!! These animals that are discarded like trash and deserve more. We get them healthy, rehabilitate them, and find the best fitting home for each and every one of them.
